I'll give you three guesses.

Are they 1) no 2) no and 3) no?

Just saw 300: Rise of an Empire, okay movie, not as good as 300 which blew me away (one of my favorite movies). Nevertheless the sea battle sequences were great. Themistocles is not an engaging character as Leonidas in my opinion in the movie.

Eva Green stole the show, with her acting and...her magnificent racks.

7/10

I've heard mixed reviews about the film itself, but everything I've seen mentioned Eva Green being excellent.

I liked her in "Dark Shadows," too.

Eva Green brings some great plot to the film. I haven't seen it yet, but I can tell.

I haven't seen the movie yet. It seems historically inaccurate. The first movie, if you take out the monsters and the "this is Sparta" scene, it was very accurate, even some dialogs were actually the same as Herodotus described them.

The monsters always cracked me up. I wonder what swordhand-500-pound guy does when he's off duty, or goathead flute player

He's a big fat guy with knives for hands; he's clearly a chef.

I finally got around to watching Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. It was good. Catchy stuff.

Friends of mine went to see it. Was better than they expected and recommended it.

Can you really go wrong with Liam Neeson anyway?

The Lego Movie was great. Then it got all Toy Story at the end (not a bad thing).

There are similarities between Angel Eyes from The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly and Daniel Plainview; the way they look sidelong, the eye crests, the patronizing smirk, and even the way they chew.

Just saw 300: Rise of an Empire, it fucking rocked. The main character is not as engaging as Gerard Butlers Leonidas, but Eva Green makes up for that. It also adds a layer to the existing story of 300 which surprised me. I had purposefully avoided any trailers or teasers so the experience was fresh. This was in contrast with 300 because I had already seen most of the movie before I went to see it from all the trailers and previews. I prefer the cinematography in the first film, in this one I think they occasionally didn't know where to put the camera to capture all the awesomeness. There is also this over-the-top long-shot with an equally ridiculous subject.
Blood effects are improved though.

TL/DR shit's awesome, go see it.

Had to quit halfway through Pain & Gain. Crappy acting (as in "do these guys know what characters they're supposed to be?" acting) extremely lazy storytelling filled with inner monologues and an attempt at dark Comedy that just faceplants. Now onto Star Trek Into Darkness, which I'm sure wont be a waste of time.

12 years a slave is a snorefest. Were it not for the acting, I would have fallen asleep watching it. There's no plot, no story development, nothing.

Why the movie has received so much praise is beyond me.

Because it talks about slavery and how bad racism is. Therefore it should be nominated.

I have 12 years a slave ready for watching, and what is said above is what I fear.

I saw There will be blood... there wasn't much blood.

Does Lincoln and 12 years a slave fall into the same category of Oscar grabbers? (I haven't seen either)

You're bad at movies. 12 Years A Slave is great. First time in years that the best movie won the oscar.
