when to use him, what for

I guess you mean in 2.6, in 1.06 its considered as a lame.

In 2.6, use him when you got problems with cav of your opponent or when there is mordor against you who got feelbeast and your archers are too busy with being hided behind mithlonds from nazgul who wants to crash them.

Or just use him when you got mighty cashflow and you dont know what to do with your money, then eagle is always useful and finds place where can he do his job .

Fellbeast counters eagle lol. Eagle is still good vs mordor though, because most mordor players don't get a fb since its basically useless vs Elves.

I think eagle is pretty good vs goblins/isen, because they have the worst archers.

vs dwarves/men its also quite good, but more units, heroes and upgrades are usually more important. I would get eagle very lategame.

Otherwise I agree with ya at most of your points, maybe I would say get eagle when its fucking late game vs elves and you need to spend money somewhere .

Eagle owned Feelbeast in 1.06, not in 2.6 tho .

Looks like you dont get the point. Meaning eagles > fellbeast doesnt mean eagle cant be owned by another thing ... But well, in 2.6, some hobbit kids own trained soldier so its normal I guess.

Hobbits are still not the strongest or inn units, but at least they are useful now.

That´s the problem. Hobbits are stupid annoying kids. You should summon them into a huge army of enemies to let them die in seconds. Or do you like fat samwise or stupid merry and pipin?

lmao that's right! Summoning Hobbits in 1.06 was mainly designed to humiliating noobs and wanna-be-pros! This was seriously more fun than 2.06 Hobs.
