Attach a DXdiag log file - link in my sig

Attach a hijackthis log file - http://www.merijn.org/files/hijackthis.zip

From these logs, I'll check your Virtual memory settings and the services running.

You have Norton internet security installed and that is a system hog. Try setting the virtual memory min and max to a fixed size as in my posts here.....

Turn off un needed services to free up extra processes and memory.

Make a system restore points before you change anything: Start>All Programs>Accesories>System Tools>System restore> Make a new restore point.

Is buying more memory an option? A 512mb stick is dirt cheap these days. Whats c4d wacko.gif

If you removed Norton from your system, you'd free up alot of resources. You'd need to get a less resource hungry AV.

AVG free edition...........

or NOD32 is supposed to be good............

You could remove Norton and try c4d to see if it helps before you get another AV.
