[Beta] D-Day + 7 (2vs2)

Here is the Beta release of my map! If anyone can review it, it would be nice. Some other feedback would be nice too.
So i hope you enjoy playing.

The file is an .sga file i guess you all know where to copy it!
It is an OF map btw.

I changed the sectors, so that they connect the same territory in the north like in the south.
I also cleaned up the mess in the eastern corner and put those VP in the middle right in the center of the map!
I optimized resource points, so it will be equal to reach from both sides! Damn my english is horrible!
I looked over OOB area and removed those dead flying axis bodies smile.gif Only thing i forgot is save pic and loading screen! but before that i need some further feedback on how the map plays out!

I tuned the ressources a bit! The map has now

Fuel total:40
2x +10 fuel
4x +5 Fuel

Munitions total:80
4x +10 munition
8x +5 munition

Strategic points = 9
Victory points = 3

Go on testing!

I rearranged the Railwaystationscene! It now has real gaps! Some sectors got some small changes and were moved to fit into balance! In the center are now other objects, because there are some troubles with the former trees. Atmosphere settings are now chosen to fit into the scenery! That provides a better overall look! I guess that would be my last changes, besides somebody found anything bugged or unbalanced.

This issue is solved! smile.gif This happens, when you draw your splines too long! The debug window says something about FTL_max error I did redraw my streets with smaller splines and the splinejumping no longer occures on any graphic settings. New version is up now!

Finally some last design changes made it into the map! I added some detail here some detail there! Some splats here and some splines there! I hope the look will please you wink.gif This will probably be final version! I will let it up 2 days before i create the "map is final now" thread!

"War is not the same nowdays. At the eastern front the russians break through our lines and for seven days the allies make france like a place in hell for us. Our orders are to hold the railwaystation or the airbase until the Panzer's arrives on the battelfield..."

I'm going to take a look at your map, if it's sga.
Please specify in the future biggrin.gif

First impression:
Sectors look nice and clean,
maybe look at some of the strategic point sectors, they don't connect to the same points in the north as the south. and the east and west.
The resource spread is good, but its not very even in distance from both hq's.
Nice scenery and building placement.

About map textures I have no clue; so can't comment there.

If you ever want to balance test this map online, pm me and I'll try and find the time to help you test it out.

I'm free to test,

The buildings and fences on this map make it a little mg-42 friendly, but in the east corner it's a bit messy.

I hang around here because I love making maps but COH's map editor is too much for me.
Your English is good enough for gr.org at least.

I added you online COH so accept the friend request when you can.

You can also remove what you've done from your to-do list (I'm sure something new will pop up)
if the screenshots are not true anymore, make a note or replace them. you changed the tactical map so that one needs to be re-done.

Ok! Im not online on weekend but i will pm you again!
If you downloaded that new file and start coh with the launcher, you have to add the map again, otherwise it will remain the old version!

I said something stupid:
when i said add that new beta version is out, I forgot that the [u]Day[u] you put it up is whats important, so people know if it is what they have downloaded already or not.
Sorry about the mistake there.
