Greetings from your friendly WCG referee,

I need some feedback from you guys about the map pool so i can inform WCGOC about communty's opinion on the map pool. I, for one, think that there are some maps that shoudn't be in the map pool in the first place, like TA and TT.

Replace with Rift and Decision imo

Rift = crap
Deci= good
TT=okish
TA=okish

Remove Tournament Arena from play.

It is no longer an official ladder map, so there's no logic to put TA as an official map.

1.) Tournament Arena or Tournament Rift
2.) Small Town Usa
3.) Tournamnet Tower
4.) Tournament Decision
5.) Tournament Coastline

Remove Tournament Arena, as it is no longer a ranked map and no one plays it. The map pool should consist EXCLUSIVELY of ranked competition maps. Rift is a bad map, and should be left out, as should the 4p maps. The map pool should be as follows:

-Tournament Decision
-Smalltown USA
-Tournament Dustbowl

You could add tower if you REALLY wanted to, but it's a very controversial map and almost everyone dislikes it. Last year was 3 maps, Dustbowl STUSA and Tournament Arena. Since TA was replaced with Decision, the logical choice would be to leave the 3 base maps and only replace TA with Decision.

But the most important thing is that you absolutely, ABSOLUTELY MUST remove Tournament Arena. Having this map in WCG is completely unacceptable since it was changed to be a noncompetitive map. EA will back me up on this as will most of GR.org.

Ok. Current WCG CnC3 map pool consists of
Tournament Arena
Tournament Dustbowl
Small Town USA
Tournament Tower
Tournament Decision

What should be changed with the mappool? I think that TA and TT should be removed, as they are very poorly constructed maps and their size is too small I feel. Keep dustbowl, decision, and STU, and add rift possibly add one of those bigger 1v1 ranked maps that also doubles as a 2v2 map. I think with the new reduced econ the bigger sized 1v1 ranked maps could be good for competition. Have AT LEAST FIVE MAPS!!!!

Tournament Dustbowl
Tournament Decision
Tournament Rift
Small Town USA
Pipeline Problems

PLZ REMOVE Tournament Arena and Tournament Tower!

Dustbowl is all about Build Order poker, really not cool

Agreed with most as well:

Remove TA, Remove TT

no tourney arena, no tourney tower.. i accept other map..

add: pipeline problems (hands-down the most straight up multitask map ever made, requires fastest apm out of any map)

keep: Tournament Tower, others

remove: tournament arena

You only like tournament tower because it suits your playstyle perfectly. That's fine, and I understand where you are coming from, but that still doesn't make it a good map. It's a bad map. I agree about Pipeline Problems (probably the best map ATM) but as it stands, they simply cannot make it a WCG map if it's an unranked map. That would be counterintuitive and it also wouldn't be fair.

I do agree add pipelines, better than that rift garbage. As long as tower is removed though, thats all that matters at this point.

Tournament Tower is currently one of the worst constructed maps in the entire game. Maps like TA and TT were good when they were designed originally, but when you have people change them and completely RUIN them - they are no good anymore.
