This is after 4 beta versions. The map looks and plays great. Enjoy!

Special thanks to all of clan Reborn, Truexxx, Onkelsam, Soapy, Eazzy, Alpha and all others who helped with testing!

Instructions to play after downloading Very easy to do, since 2.502

Step 1: Unzip map.

Step 2: Put files in C:\Documents and Settings\Tyler Durdan\My Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes\ww2\scenarios

Step 3: Enjoy! thumb.gif (restart COH if it is running)

its nothing like Beux. Its more like a combination of Rails and McG's with a hint of Ango. Its designed with keeping Brits in check in mind.

Might want to post up some top down shots of the map Flash instead of just close ups of various areas.

might i suggest posting a screenie of the tac map as well so prospective players can get a quick feel of the sector / resource layout.

the problem is that custom maps forum don't have the foot fall that the general discussion has.. how are people supposed to know about this awesome map?

A great map, I've played several games on it, and found it ballanced for all races... well as ballanced as all races get.

I recommend it for inclusion in 2v2 automatch.

Im pleased to announce that Le Paradis has over 520 downloads at filefront, combined with over 120 downloads here puts the total downloads at more than 640! thanks all for your support! biggrin.gif

What about putting another +10 fuel in the north of the middle? It seems to me that one fuel in the middle is too important, thus if you dont have it you are in a very bad position. Plus its too easy to wire sandbag it off to prevent the opponents capping it.

hey White_flash,

yes Vailon and some of us clowns played a couple of games on Le Paradis last night. very impressive map, really enjoyed it.

the only concern i have is what Vailon touched on with the single medium fuel. essentially whichever team gained initial control of it managed to hold it for the rest of the game and eventually won.

it presents such a large tech advantage i don't think either side can afford not to go all out from the outset and not getting it puts you at a big disadvantage. it kind of reminded me of the old rails and metal with the +16 fuel in the middle. ok not quite as drastic but the map still has a fairly steep slippery slope.

i can totally understand how and why you've made the +10 fuel inaccessible to a Brit truck so if including 2 +10 fuels on the mp is alot of rework the other option is to lower it to a +5 fuel and perhaps convert the 2 corner strat sectors that don't offer much value into +5 fuels as well.

at present if the +16 muni on the other side of the map is intended to balance the +10 fuel i don't think it succeeds, the +10 fuel is everything imo which leads to shit or bust for both teams.
