for the most part, i'd kill the sibling.

read an really boring short book and have to take notes about it, or watch a 4 hour long boring and retarded movie (and you can't fall asleep, you have to pay attention, and in the theater, there is someone right behind you doing something annoying)

I'd have to say family guy, because although I don't really like either, Cartman's voice and the poorer visual quality of the show would probably get on my nerves.
