Terms Universal Micromanagement: Taking active, precise control of your units in the battlefield to maximize their firepower or keep them alive. Basically your tactics Macromanagement: This deals with your BO, how well you spend your money, your unit purchasing decisions, and your overall strategy Rush: Attacking your opponent as soon as possible in the hopes of catching him unprepared to do battle, giving you the edge by raiding his economy or slowing down unit production Countering: Holding back and successfully defending yourself from a rush. Harassing: Executing small attacks to annoy your opponent and raid his economy and forces throughout the game. Fast Tech: Term for a build order in which you try and build a Palace, Strategy Center, or Propaganda Center right away by sacrificing the production of early units. Expansion: A secondary base constructed to control a certain part of the map for a strategic advantage. Spam: Using lots of only one unit in place of mixing fewer amounts different units to accomplish multiple tasks. Or making more of one unit than is needed for a particular task/tasks. This type of strategy generally requires little skill and is disproportionately powerful to the skill needed to pull it off or stop it.
If some have been missed, post them in this thread and they will eventually be added.
