(Hope this is in the right place now.)



Two different battles I have tried to upload, have had the same error message.

In the two different battles Elmo had different army’s (Marathas and Russia).

But I believe he was the host in both.

These are 4v4 battles (I had hoped to post the first), and my system is XP Professional, and my copy of Empire is downloaded, and has been updated once by Steam.

It is very important for me to be able to upload replays for my Empire Clan Wars Competition contests. How can I find out what is wrong and correct it?

Error message:

Replay Parser: Could not determine an army for the player -|Invictus|- Ce. The replay was not saved, please make sure you are uploading a valid replay and try again.

Never had any problems before the patch.

Thanks for reporting. This will be taken care of.

We've applied a fix for this issue. Please post back if you upload any replays that don't display the correct information.

Having mixed results, on the plus side i can actually upload replays now but still quite a few that are getting error messages, I'll post more details later.

There're so many changes made to these replays for whatever reason during patching that it's not possible to allow backward compatibility. Only the latest version will work.

Would be nice to know is CA intend to do this for all patches ^^

with this one error says ` file does not appear to be a valid replay `

this was played today version 1.2
the upload page only gives version 1.0 as an option ?

That issue is now fixed although it's possible some of the other army names within the replay files may also have been changed. Please attach any replays that won't upload with the player names and respective army and we'll get it sorted out.
