That’s right all you crazy Company of Heroes fanatics! As of today, June 10th, at 9:00 PST, the Relic servers will be busy updating with the newest patch, 2.600! Check out the patch notes here if you have not seen them. They include many fixes that the community has been begging for, such as the PaK or the burst bug, and for the most part reactions have been optimistic and positive.

In the patch 2.600 notes newspost, we also addressed some rather strange changes to the strafing run which stated that it would be “increased in effectiveness and reliability”. Since then Thunder has gotten back to us and stated that it will only be more consistent and reliable, not more effective.

Patch 2.502 has been a very hard hitting one when it came to our community. We have seen a lot of good players leave, and nearly everyone agrees that the balance was rather horrible. So with the this new patch we would likely to remind everyone to invite their friends back if they have left, and of course as always, to invite new players to the game so that we may all enjoy the the hopefully more balanced play than ever!

Get the patch here.
Check out the official release newspost on Relic’s site.
