When you draw an Isen mirror from random and you've started 2 furn pit, what's your first reaction when you meet his uruk crossing the ford? I played a game vs Butta earlier, idk if he cancelled or demoed pit but he went 3 furn to pit and I wasn't really sure what to attack ect. or whether to spend money on a tower or uruk.

E/ Mainly directed at the isen pros ofc (Butta, Peak and Gamroth if he's passing through, or Miho if he can be arsed with Isen biggrin.gif).

I'll just say what I do when I pick Isengard from random:

dbl furn pit - wallcheck

FOL: delete furn - get top mill ( from right spot - offhost ) or top mill from left spot ( the closest to ur base )

FOD: delete pit - get 3rd furn - You should see if its isen/mordor befor your furn is finished. If isen let it build, if mordor cancel the furn & build pit again ...

Question@Butta and Miho:

for 1v1 as well as 2v2:

as FoL, when your sending your units to the opponent's mill in the beginning and you notice Gollum attacking your units

do you keep running to the mill or do you attack gollum then?

this might sound a little stupid but I've had problems with (host) microed gollums doing perfect hit'n'runs whenever I try to attack him

Depends on where you meet Gollum. If it's on half way, you'd lose at least 2 units if you're straight going forward. Fight instead. If it's close to his mill, then keep going, if you lose 1 unit it's still acceptable for me.

attack gollum.

creep.

the point is if you go 2furns pit vs Isengard and he kills 1 furn you only have 1 furn eco. if u get 3 furns and he kills one you will still have 2 furn eco.

Dont creep it, that is a common creep for Gondors to go to first and moreover you still have plenty of time to intercept him if he went to another creep. If you dont find him then just kill farms. However, if you had a good peasy spam and you see him going to the farms you took from him, obviously you creep it.

next question.
do you build the amory first or first buld a SH farm or furn and then delete it again to build armory?

second question:
do you wallcheck if it is gondor or rohan in a 2vs2(anorien) do you have spacial spots?
i think it would be quite useful but i dont know how to do it.

1. armory first. making a furn and waiting for the money for an armory will take longer than if u didn't make the furn

2. no, there's no need to wall check to see if he's roh or gon cos ur gonna see their units soon enough lol

The common one Vs. FoL as Mordor:
Eye -> Lands -> Industry -> Darkness -> Balrog
Occasionally you may see this if you need naz or wk asap or you are stuck camping:
Eye -> Lands -> Industry -> Devastation -> Darkness -> Balrog

Isengard Vs. Rohan
Warchant -> Industry -> Palantir -> Freezing Rain -> Balrog

Isengard Vs. Gondor:
Warchant -> Lands -> Fuel the Fires -> Balrog
Sometimes you will see this one if your economy is strong early:
Warchant -> Lands -> Industry-> Fuel the Fires -> Balrog

You may get Freezing Rain though instead of Fuel The Fires if your opponent has Boro and Fara LD with archers.

Vs. FoD
Eye -> Lands -> Inudstry -> Darkness -> Balrog
Warchant -> Inudstry -> Rain -> Balrog (unless you want lands against mordor)

In FoD mirrors as Isen assuming I don't use WC and he has no units defending when I attack a mill with a full health uruk, should I hit the labs first or the mill? I have always tended to go straight for the mill, but I notice other people kill the labs first and recently following Miho's advice I came to realise how much killing labs can slow you down.

What's the logic for getting fuel the fires instead of rain? If you get rain you should be able to keep 80% or more MC and you won't need eco boosts.

in that situation early game i'd go for labs first.

also sometimes what i like to do is attack the mill from the side the labs are on so i kill the labs the same time as the mill.

OMG ME 2 ! ! ! ! !! !

Get FTF vs Gondor in 1vs1... It will give you soooo much money and all LD gondor will usually have is GTW LD ...

Exaclty what buttafly said. Besides, Gondor doesn't really need leadership to still win and you will easily lose MC vs. Gandolf and you will probably be taking hits your your base as well.
