So what is everyone playing in the meantime to keep your skills sharp?

My FPS of choice is Day of Defeat: Source... I like the more 'realistic' damage mechanics and focus on teamwork. I play a little bit of TF2 here and there along with some other source mods(Fistful of Frags, Hidden: Source). I got bored of Left4Dead very quickly and think Valve is giving us a slap in the face with a sequel coming out so soon instead of updated content.

All this being said, I got into Battlefield Heroes beta and was instantly addicted. It is just a lot of fun to play. Cartoonish graphics, ridiculous damage models and physics sometimes.. It is just a blast. I pre-ordered a server and got 16 buddies into beta... Now the game is available for everyone, but the private server sector is still offline unfortunately. Otherwise I'd invite all of you to come play on the City of R'lyeh server and have a good time. If anyone needs help with battlefield heroes stuff(or if you want to play some DOD, FoF, or TF2), let me know!

I have a new diversion, friends..

Section 8 is closed beta, but FilePlanet is giving out keys to even non-subscribers.. I filled out the form and had a key right away.. after 15 minutes in the public queue, I started downloading..
However, one friend of mine filled out the form and it rejected him for some reason. Otherwise quite a few people I know have been playing and like it.

It is a solid game that will be pretty good practice for GA even. I recommend it to all.. In the interest of not spamming another game too terribly in the GA forums, just PM me if you want a direct link to the FilePlanet beta signup.. Otherwise it is pretty easy to find it there

Yes its pretty nice game and similar to global agenda expect in global agenda u have to aim all times.

I've heard it is good, if not very lasting.

I just got a beta key for Aion today, so I'm trying that out. It's something to keep me until the weekends, but I'm not going to get it since I'll be playing GA when GA releases.

i have played the chinese version, for me it is good graphics and too much eye candy animations but the lag of chz version maybe made animations even worse and fucked balance i wish its better without lag.
i wish ncsoft stops bot in european version or be prepared for this
