It is funny how simple things can be written all over. What you seem to have forgotten is that hitting a maneuvering plane with a rocket even if close to ground is a matter of luck 95%. Also I dont agree with flying low to ground, because youre limiting your own visibility and bullets fired at you will take shorter time to hit you. I would at most times fly high, if physics work a bit similar to the 42, then a high-energy fighter can make an attack at you if you fly lower and because of higher energy-speed can do it again. So youre like a sitting duck in mid-air.
Flak rounds werent just exploding on impact. They were timed to explode in certain distance from the gun/height. If distance was shorter than plane´s distance to gun, explosion would do nothing, same goes if it exploded too late. It was only when it exploded relatively close tothe plane so shrapnel would do damage. Direct hits from a large callibbre FlaK (AA gun-Flugabwehrkanone) would destroy smaller planes in 1 hit, however due to the aerodynamics of the shells it was very improbale. Planes like B-17 took 2-3 hits from 88 mm to get down.
It wasnt that simple that it exploded just on impact...That would be like any normal dumb shell fired.

This guide was a waste of my time reading it if you dont realize that you can shoot down aircraft with a machine gun or the emplaced guns than u should defenitly read it but many thanks to Servante for this awesome guide
