I no this is a really annoying question. Ive heard it is Isengard when masters correctly but i was just wonding how much truth in your opinions as the bfme2 commuinity were.
If i would be so bold to also ask you to post why you think it is that would be great
Honestly Isengard doesn't have many weak spots, and right now they're probably the best faction to have in most circumstances. Good economy from powers, good units, good heroes, what's not to like?
Men are sorta close to Isengard I suppose, but I think that their weaker but more spammable units don't compare to Isengard's units. Mordor just takes some time to get used to, but they can be a beast in late-game, and I'll admit that Mordor has the most useful heroes.
I put Dwarves ahead of Elves because a Dwarves player doesn't have to worry about pike/archer micro as much and overall just has a much more... stable army. What I mean is that the tide of a battle isn't going to change instantly with Dwarves like it could with Elves. And then I put Goblins last because they're just so hard to use effectively. Only reason they seem good imo is that the best players seemed to use Goblins in the past (I dunno about now).
BTW all the factions are pretty damn close to one another in terms of how they do (w/ the exception of Isengard honestly).
Maybe elves own every other faction with no problem but they lose to mordor, while mordor beats elves but they have a hard time vs other factions... Elves would still be best
I voted elves cause I don't see how to beat a really pro elf. And mordor doesnt necessarily beat elves. It is balanced imo.
They are hard as hell to play as though. 1 little micro mistake and your whole army is gone.
I am working on a new strategy for elves ;D which is fun as hell tbh
