The Global Agenda portal has an opening for a new staff position, one which didn't exist until about an hour ago. We are looking for a dedicated Portal Artist to help out with creation of digital artwork specifically for the Global Agenda section.
The position would deal with creating digital graphics primarily for use here on GameReplays, such as new highlight images for the portal front page, new banner images for large projects like tournament announcements, and other miscellaneous things like the Faction Index banners and custom thumbnails. Needless to say, this is a very "visible" job and anyone interested in the position must be able to use their graphics programs well enough to come up with creative, high-quality images and designs with little direct supervision on a reasonable schedule.
Anyone with an interest in applying for the position should send a Private Message to -Sebra detailing what sort of experience (casual or professional) you have in this field, what programs you use in your work, why you'd like the position, and if at all possible a couple of links to work you've created in the past.
Note that this is not an application for a Site Artist position; Site Artists work outside of any particular game setting and create work for the site as a whole. Again, this posting is for work specifically for the Global Agenda portal.
