Rise of the Witch-King Ladder Update #17

The Rise of the Witch-King 1v1 Ladder is still active, even so long after its last reset. The top ten players have been rising and falling so that no position seems guaranteed. The top player however has managed to hold that title for a long time, even though he appears to still actively play on the ladder:

Divine|Elladan is still first place, after playing around 30 games since the last ladder report. His skill seems unmatched; he has won almost every game he's played in and he's likely to keep his position for a while yet, even though the second placed player is only six points behind him.

KarshTheWraith, once first place player, has remained at rank two for a long time now. He's only six points behind Elladan however, and has a chance to retake his crown if he's willing to take it, through activity. There are several new and old names in the top players on the ladder, most of them being known GameReplays members. The points range from 1782 to 1694, a fairly small range which means that these players will have to fight hard to keep their ranks, let alone advance to higher ones. The players that are farther down on the ladder are also fighting for first place, so it will be quite a battle for anyone who wants a high rank.

That's the Quickmatch report for this week. Stay tuned for next week's report (they will be done on a weekly basis once again) to see the top players.

In Tournament, many maps favor Elves. Also, if you're offhost, you also get the bad spot, such as the left side on Lorien and the bottom on Ithilien.

Lol, calm down "Pro". Firsly, I didn't choose to be the host,my Army and the Map. So I would love to have a Rematch on your Host and on FoI. Btw, my host isn't crappy at all, most of the times.

Yeah it's a shame the map and host are random (with the exception of host names) and if you go random the army is also random. They should of made a system where the more times you are off host the more likely you are to be on host next game.

Well, unfortunately, it's based on nickname. You can't ever change the host with two set nicknames. If I were to use CL|Alien against a certain nickname and I was offhost, I could never be host with CL|Alien against that particular nickname.

Nope your wrong. I have played same nickname vs same nickname and been off and on host.

Unless you can provide a screenshot of two games where this is different, I am afraid I cannot believe you. I have never in all my tournament games seen any reason to believe what you're saying and I've also heard it from many others. It's confirmed that it works like this in BFME1 as well.
