biggrin.gif Just bought it for like £30 as a student price. Really like it, lots of great features which make everything very fluid to use!

Win 7 has very seamless compatibility mode.
You can any program in XP (any service pack) or Vista mode.
In fact, I'm running ZH in XP SP3 mode:

I'm also using windows 7. This is really awesome. Much better than vista.
I had problems when I installed windows 7 to play ZH but I fixed it changing the compatibility mode to windows XP, as you mentioned B2.

Btw thanks for the mention Fraser, honoured tongue.gif

Fraser, nice box screen noob. Get a widescreen monitor and get with the times. I am waiting till Black Friday to buy a new computer and get Windows 7 for 49.99 with the purchase of a new pc to put on this PC and my laptop. I have been using the Evaluator edition for about 6 months now.

I actually haven't checked how many licenses it comes with. That's something I need to check. I could probably put it on my netbook, but I'm a little dubious it would work lol. Might save it for if and when I ever buy an actual laptop.

Yeah the monitor is an old 19" CRT monitor...which was a backup for when my 19" TFT failed a while ago. Been meaning to get a new one but just haven't got round to it yet tongue.gif

Guess I'll have to wait for a sale.

Is there a version that'll bump you from XP to 7?

Well I went from XP to 7. I never had Vista coz I knew from using other peoples' computers that it sucked. If you had Vista, Windows 7 would simply be an upgrade and I believe you wouldn't have to back up your files anywhere in the process. For XP to Windows 7, you have to carry out custom installation which means having to backup your files on an external HD. I had about 85 gigs of stuff that could be moved over (using windows easy transfer - it assesses what can and cannot be transferred). Of course you could manually move more files.
