I think at that point he must have been doing some ksing, had someone working for him on the other team, or was in easy mode, or some combination of the previous. Games just don't go that long and Pyro just doesn't make that much money realistically.
It's been a while since we talked about this guy and a couple have patches have changed things in terms of items. The skill build is relatively the same though.
What are you all using on him now? I think a combo of Blood Chalice and Power Supply/Bottle is absolutely awesome since you don't need Bracers or Talismans anymore. Striders are a nice addition as well as it allows you to get to other goodies quicker like a Portal Key. I'm still going for Sheepstick as a late game luxury, but I don't get it very often because either the game is over by then or I'm to busy warding.
