I have a GTX 260 'Maxcore' at the moment. But its just TOO noisy and TOO hot for a game like Starcraft 2. If I was playing FPS or something then I guess I'd be better off with a big bruiser but I'm really looking for something simple, quiet and gets the job done.
The main thing is that it is quiet and cold without external cooling.
Edit: I bought one of those 5670s as they are peanuts anyway. Gonna try that one and see how it goes. Seems pretty good from the reviews 'silent' performance etc.

Ehm, the 5670 is a lot slower than a GTX 260 and the 260 is probably one of the best examples of an inefficient videocard.
Take a card with normal stock cooling often with a fan with tiny blades, these blow the air through the videocard out of the case. Reasonable gaming videocards are the radeon higher than 5770 and the nvidia's are probably pretty good as well, although they might be a little more expensive.
I'm just looking for something that can play SC2 with that isn't going to blow my PC up
I appreciate that there are probably much better cards power wise but remember I'm looking for something that plays sc2 (and thats it) and is quiet and cool.

5670 isn't an upgrade over GTX 260, in fact you have downgraded. Anyway, if it suits your game and less noisy and less heat, you should be okay. You should have chosen 5850 which is quiet and less dissipation of heat. I experienced max around 80C while playing Crysis. Consumes less power as well, oh well so does 5670.
5670 is clearly less powerful but there is no need to have a powerful card as I only play Starcraft 2 and the 5670 can run that on Ultra 1900x1200 so im happy

1900x1200, which monitor is this? Nowadays all new monitors come with that stupid aspect ratio meant for HD movies etc., which is very annoying if you want to play at your resolutions. I miss my old monitor.

Mine is an ACER AL2416W, bought it 3 years ago or so, works like a dream for the price, think it was about 200 pounds new from overclockers.co.uk.
I am looking to buy a new graphics card.
I require it to be as quiet and cool as possible. It should also be able to run Starcraft 2 at 1900x1200 on Ultra.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
