Kinda defeats the object of a clan 2v2 tourney, (i.e, normal 2v2 with added tedium of having to make up a name... which actually could be quite fun)

If you're not in a clan already and you want to take part then you can just make up a temporary clan with a friend.

The idea is to try and stimulate more clan activity, but we recognise that supcom2 isn't really a clan style game for most people.

Sadly overlooked in the map rotation: Geothermal Borehole, Emerald Crater.
Sadly not overlooked: Seraphim Isle, Powderhorn Mesa

Sadly impossible to please everyone.

I've updated the registration link with an organisational chart (Tournament Brackets), here. Once sign-ups are complete and we have enough teams to fill the 1st round I will move an updated version to a new thread where teams can report wins / losses and see the chart updated as the tournament progresses.

Good thing geothermal isnt in, its layout is... lacking. COuldve been much better. Etched desert is oversized. Powerderhorn is OK, but should have more stuff of importance in the center. Emerald Crater is also a bit oversized, most of the time a big airspam fest. Dont like it.

Etched can be actually fun with proper use of land and stuff...but still, it's just mostly about airspam. Geothermal just sucks balls. No idea why you'd want it to be included.

When exactly will each round be played? Is it like first two rounds on day 1 and the other two rounds on day 2?
