Nice write-up and thx for the Autohotkey script. I didn't know Xplit had come so far with their application. Good stuff. I am actually trying it out and will probably start broadcasting regularly as soon as I figure out the best streaming settings.
Thanks, I was looking for a guide for how to use JTV to stream Starcraft 2.
SC2 makes it so much easier to stream on JTV, since you can just throw it in windowed (full screen) mode and hit broadcast on XSplit. And real men play on minimum settings anyways, so that shouldn't be a problem
When I play CoH with streaming I can't find a way to stop the task bar from popping up, meaning I need to use my down arrow key just to move down which is really frustrating and affects me alot >.< Anyone know how to stop that, since well you can't play full screen mode with xsplit. And my CoH is being very annoying with not letting me drag the side of the screen to make the screen thinner so it doesnt happen :<

Did you use the Autohotkey script? If you set your desktop's resolution to the CoH's resolution and then use the script the CoH window will cover your screen and nothing else will be shown unless you Alt-TAB. In the screenshot you provided it seems CoH is running at a resolution smaller than that of the desktop.

On topic. This is a great write up. Except configuring xsplit can be a pain in the keester.
It's not that hard to set up Xsplit. The trial and error procedure of finding the best streaming settings is what will take most time, but eventually you will get it.
The same thing happens to me occasionally, Biosparks. Usually mousing over the CoH icon in my taskbar fixes things. Also, like aramonkg pointed out, it seems you didn't set the AKH script to your desktop's native resolution.
so my windowed mode is waaaaay to small for my screen. Wat do? I think there is a tip in the guide that says something like"If teh screen is too small, suck it up, cus you can't BC well without it in windowed mode."
Anyways, if there is no solution I will try my luck and just broadcast my whole screen.
This is also the Q&A thread, so post any questions you have and I'll see about adding them into the guide.
UPDATE: Thanks to the amazing pingtoft, we have a new and improved AHK script that simulates full-screen appearance 100%. I have compiled the script into an executable file to make it easier to use; if you don't trust an exe, the script source code is below.
WinSet, Style, -0xC40000, a
WinMove, a, , 0, 0, % A_ScreenWidth, % A_ScreenHeight
return
