Have you ever wanted to join a tournament but never had the courage, were you afraid of losing to some of the major players like MC or TLO and so on? Well then this tournament is for you! After watching many professional gaming tournaments such as the TSL and GSL. We have taken things in our own hands. We in DeaD Gaming are announcement our own tournament played by amateur players from bronze to diamond. With a price pool of 150 USD and no entry fee we are presenting DGT 2011 6-12 of june. In order to prevent bias opinions no DeaD members will be not participating in the tournament.
If your interested in joining, please read the how to sign up information below, there is only a maximum of 256 players that can enter the tournament so get your spot and the chance to win the first price of 100 USD. How to sign up:
Go onto our website https://sites.google.com/site/dgtournamet/, click on the tournament registration form in the left side bar, fill in the information required. We need to know you Character code , Character name as well as a link to you battle.net profile. You will know if you have been accepted after a DeaD.Gaming member have checked you application and either accepted it or declined it. The name of the people who have been accepted will be posted on our website as well as on the forums.
Rules for the tournament:
* Max amount is 256 (or multiples 16)
* Minimum of 200 league ( in total over all seasons) wins played but highest rank of Diamond in all leagues
* Sudden death random match ups until round of 64
* All replays must be sent to DeaDGaming.sc2@gmail.com as confirmation of victory
* The Games must be played within a certain date if the replay is not sent in by the decided date both players will be disqualified and will be eliminated from the tournament. ( see schedule below)
* Contestants must be prepared to have their game casted and/or streamed by DeaD members
* In a dispute the final decision lies with the DeaD members
* If a player disconnects from the game during the sudden death round it is the winning player of the games decision if he/her chooses to replay the game or not
* Round of 64,36,16 and 8 will be best of 3 games, semi final will be 5 best of games and finals will be played in best of 7 games.
* No DeaD members are allowed to enter the tournament.
Rule breaking:
If a player were to break any of the rules they will be disqualified and the disqualification can not be appealed.
• No replay submission
o It is the players responsibility to report the results of their game via replay submission to: deadgaming.sc2@gmail.com
• One player dose not turn up
o We understand that not everyone will show up to play your games. If this is the case you need to contact a DeaD Gaming member and make us aware of the situation at hand. We will then try and contact your opponent and if we are unsuccessful you will be either matched with someone or go to the next round.
§ Please note that our decision will favour the player who is online the most during the day your game should be played.
By entering the tournament you agree on that you have read and accepted the rules of the tournament. As well as in any dispute the members of DeaD gaming have the final decision and you can not appeal.
Prizes:
First place: 100 USD
Second place: 50 USD
* All prices will be sent using paypal.
* All taxes or extra payment due to the payment of the price will be payed by the receiver.
