tl;dr version: borderline locks (when unit is visible and enters fog, and is locked after being several seconds completely invisible in the fog according to replay / tools) are not convictable. Apparently it has got something to do with the delay in replay recording that makes it seem maphack. EA didn't mean replays to be watched with MHRR tools after all, so small complications like this one are to be expected.

Yes, indeed. Be very careful with MiG lock ons in borderline cases. Due to unfigured complications it might be possible that there is a distortion of facts logged in a replay. So, to reassure we're always 100% correct about a maphack conviction these cases are supposed to be let gone.
