Obviously I am right. HD needs some re-calibrating....Maniek seems to agree....at least in terms of the micro side of the game.

You people need to do some critical thinking and read my post in its entirety.

I saw one remark that my fix would cause emp infantry to insta die.....I said that friendly units/buildings should take reduced damage....this is not as far fetched as it sounds....at one point in the game HD did in fact do friendly damage.

average games never last longer than 15 minutes, even sometimes not longer than 10, so what is all that whine about?

Well the point is, just because most games don't last long enough for cryogeddon, doesn't make it any less effective.

Japan doesn't have an effective late game protocol anymore, they have the worst economic protocol too.
Soviets have orbital drop, but it's easy to run away and not suffer the same fate as the sudden cryogeddon hit.

If cryogeddon had a warning beacon it would be more fair for units, but it still would freeze mechabays and much more along with it. The overall point is, it's more effective than the other protocols that have 3 levels to them.

Of course HD is also quite an effective protocol, but you have to lose units in order for it to come into play.
But a lot of people don't look at it like that.

But let's not turn this into a balance discussion, there's a lot of annoying crap in ra3 and there ain't a darn thing we can do about it.

I don't think how saying how much we hate other factions protocals or abilities is going to change anything.. we all know each faction has their OP strengths, which surely don't need to be repeated^^

But sticking on topic Walf did make LW so maybe you'll see a allied winner johnny smile.gif
