Hey Budwise

It's been a hectic week with tax season picking up. Even though I'm only working part time subbing out work it's been tough to get online when you guys are. I must be on during the European/Asian prime game time due to the interesting chat and play I have been facing. I most likely won't be on Cohen or Vent earlier in the day until Saturday. I have been playing some PE and Wehr and due to the fact I had been focusing on playing American my low level has led to quite a streak. Between US/Wehr/PE I'm like 12-3 on the last 15. I haven't bothered to post any of those games as they do not need review. I realized I had posted a few victories in the last few posts and that may be the wrong way to go about posting mentor replays. Am I correct in thinking we would be best to go over my losses? Kinda a dumb question eh?

Hey guys,

Just wanted to drop in and say whats up to both you guys. I've been having some minor health issues and was in the hospital briefly but I will be getting back on Vent in the next couple days when I'm feeling a little better. I haven't even played an auto-match in a few days and my body is going through withdrawals from not playing CoH. laugh.gif I do want to go over a couple more matches as I am getting to a higher levels on my American and Wehrmacht Accounts. I have found that many of the things I thought I had down are slightly less effective against higher level opponents. As I get back into 1v1 AT or even some 2v2 I will post any losses. Thanks again for the help and talk to you soon.

Time for a rematch Art!!

I suppose it's too late! I posted about needing a mentor in the mentor forum yesterday. It would have been bad ass to have you as a mentor!

At a certain point I like to see my Mentee's give back to the community and do some Mentoring themselves. Perhaps Art and Southsig02 (lvl7) could play some games? I think Art is high enough above you in skillset you could probably learn a few things and I can answer questions if he cant. If Art is up for it. I dont have time to mentor a lvl 7 tbh, I usually require a lvl 10 in 1v1 auto to just get started. Otherwise I end up teaching someone basic things rather than strategic theory. Art is lvl 11 and if hes up for it would suit you well. I see you are in Birmingham Alabama as well so the timezones are right.

Wait Bud are you taking on another mentee?

If you are I'm real interested. I was 14 with US a month or two ago and I'm looking to get better with them. I'm from Maryland so time would work out well and I just got home from college for summer break so I can play basically whenever.

If you can great and if your can't thanks for your time

Uninstalled CoH, havent really felt like playing. My Dad had a small stroke and CoH is not exactly a stress reliever. May reinstall, but im definitely taking a break.

Sorry to hear that Budwise. I had to take some time off for family issues myself and know that it can be hard to focus on CoH when the mind has more important things on it. Thanks for the mentoring you did with me. I would be able and willing to give back to the community and will now have time to Mentor someone up to level like 8 to possibly 10. (As low as 4 or 5 and I would play them for feedback) I was able to get one faction (Americans) up to 12 but know that I can play at a higher level (14ish) so I feel 8 would be a good level to mentor what do you think Bud? I also have been playing a lot lately but I think If I mentor someone I would need to stick with helping on Americans and Wehrmacht. My PE is ok but I hardly ever play Brits. (Hate that Pio Spam) Anyway thanks for the mentoring. I think if I had the time I could get to the 15-16 area in the next month or 2. Art have you been playing lately? Which account? I will add you for a rematch. I bought a retail copy instead of Steam and have a new profile with a smurf per faction. Talk to you guys later.

Offer to teach noobs is my suggestion Lbode. Often times breaking through the learning curve is the toughest part and people will stop playing after a week or two because nobody is around to show them the basics.

Im still around, just taking a low profile for a bit.
