Who the hell has the ability to even get to t3 and to spend all that money on FC termi armor (1v1). There is only 1 MU where this is remotely possible and that is the SM mirror. Not to mention the flamer can't do anything to units at all. I'd imagine its way easier to get in 3v3 and to a lesser extent t2 and sure it should be changed. But I'm mostly concerned with 1v1 balance. Sure change it, but also let it actually do damage to even regular infantry with its attack.
Catas are gonna be the new black again. Also goto anti SM/Chaos.
It's nice that maul costs closer to what it should cost but that's about the only good thing i see(yeah dreads are cheaper but so are 2 other walkers so meh...)
Vindicare, the fact that you think FC flamer does little damage/not enough damage to infantry makes me wonder how you can keep telling yourself that you aren't biased.

What will that prove? You have more experience with the game mode, I haven't played much recently as it is. I know you will beat me. Winning does not mean you are not biased. Which you have proven yourself time and time again that you are very chaos biased and fairly FC biased.
The FC Flamer is least OP in the SM matchup, but it is pretty freaking bawlin vs nearly everything else.
i think they really follow a policy to stop supporting dow2 over time. next patch will be even smaller. In the near future, we can be thankful for a single bugfix .....
Besides being far too small patch and not fixing critical issues, there are two changes which I don't like.
-Blood Maul buff was totally uncalled for. Instead of making now all weapons underpriced like Thunder Hammer and Bang Bang Hammer, they should do something about those two weapons -FC Artificer Armor is too expensive now. A 5 power increase would have been more reasonable, but together with that they should have increased also the cost of the Iron Halo and the Thunder Hammer. In result that would have meant more cost nerfs for the FC in total (which are not undeserved), but more reasonably spread out.
edit: I just read they nerfed the Alacrity Armor, not the Artificer Armor.

No change to FC lolhammer, no change to RA wargear (10 power less doesn't change the effectiveness of the weapon), no change to shootas, no change to ltgb, no power cost reduction for horma upgrade, no FC bubble change, no IG pop changes.

hmm... I think you made a decent summary of things that are needed to happen.... and one could really expect "oh, how these things remain untouched, there will be a bigger patch soon too"
But I don't think that's the case. What's more likely: lower your customers expectations, so they're not surprised when you slip through the door.
Well, bC is only one man, and we (all) have no idea how idea of the factors affecting the rate and nature of change. Perhaps his boss feels that nerfing the lolhammer on the free weekend is a bad choice due to the FC popularity with free players.
Perhaps he doesn't want to piss off the players who play the most common heros (CL, WB, FC). Perhaps he isn't allowed enough time to work on it.
I'm giving bC the benefit of the doubt here; he seems a nice enough bloke. I only wish there were more communication around this patch, and the way to get that is to ask for it politely.
Only slightly? They will be absolutly insane! Reducing models remove their weakness from aoe (im especially looking at smite), have insane damage and a big healthpool (1050 without upgrades). The demoman and sarg will add another insane attackpower. Add LG to that with medpack and grenade launcher speedbuff and there u go. Well, ill play LG^^.
btw, how will catas scale with sarge/demo man upgrades? Do they do 30 power_melee each too?
I'm a bit concerned about this buff tbh, it means they'll be doing slightly more dps in melee than 2 full rav squads.
it seems so. I think catas will be pretty imba with LG. you can wait a pretty long time without losing a model, so you can wait longer to use the medpack actually then regain full health..... catas have HP like a TAC squad = lol, ok, no heavy armor ofc.. but yeah...
anyways, ... to you bC-post: I think he gots a lot of feedback and there's a big consens in this community in the last few weeks...... repeating issues... even pro-players admit imbalanced stuff in their favorite race, supported by the community... Actually I cannot recall a time (except 1.3 rippers) where the dow2 community was in such a consens. the current things are mainly: FC / chaos (BLs/BCs) / shootas, or some eco stuff.
edit: read post above. YEP. MEDPACK = needs a nerf finally..... it was already a bit broken in the race-context..... now it will make catas VERY OP.
