vendread has better stats than TB carni and costs 50 power instead of 210 just saying

To be fair though, if I remember right the Carnifex has a melee resistance aura.

Ven Dread also costs Zeal and doesn't have multiple upgrade options.

by my math red is worth at least 2x power and maybe 3x. 4x or 5x req. maybe 6x

That could be so if red came in at the same speed all the time in all cases, but it is simply not so.

ex. SM tend to give off red slower while IG and Ravener tend to give off red much faster.

no, a carni has no melee resitance aura. a sl has. and a TB carni is already upgraded and has to walk into battle.


and to say red is worth Xx req/power is wrong. it just makes your unit cheaper (or in case of Rav drop, more expensive). with the saved power for example you can get a nascar pred. why on earth was there speed buffed?

And SM also get red slower because a) they would get then also less red from less own model losses and b) the higher survivability goes in both directions in matchups with SM, because SM units do less damage for cost than other races units.

when you don't see the advantage of a battle revive for the most pathetic hero, go home!
when you can't even see possible usage for fte on plasma or lib, go home!
when you can't combine nasty thinks like LR and Orb, go home!

How would you use a drop pod? My best use for it is setup team disruption.

I have to admit I probably only used it 5 times in my life and in 4 of those 5 times, it possibly bugs "gets cancelled". Minerals and red wasted. I made 2 threads regarding it and I still don't know what the fuck was wrong with it.

This is not a discussion, this is a whinethread.

@ riku i don't expect anything from a player who isn't even good as apo. I don't expect that such a player knows how to use globals when he just used f1 before, over and over again.
Stop crying, sm globals are fine.

if you would call down mules while using your market place to trade some lumber for vespene gas you could easily afford to waste some minerals now and then

Drop Pod needs a small buff somewhere and Orbital Bombardment is crap. Other than that SM globals are fine.

But then you might get 7 pooled, and nobody wants that.

Anywhos, Drop Pod is useful when you're req starved ~ don't reinforce your SM squads, then when your army can't function in combat just retreat to base and use it. Whole army reinforced for much cheaper req cost, and the cost of red.

blessing of whatever it is isnt even usable in T1 and late game its crap. Yes im still new but i felt i had to point that out

For some reason Blessing of the Omni is a useable T1 global for TM, and I can only think of 2 reasons why:

(1) To ; ) people who accidentally press F2 when trying to go to base

(2) To repair sentinels in team games
