additionally i want mappers to report in on this and get their maps tested and updated. I want people to see the new versions of the maps (or a new map in general) to be considerably improved to the point where they are tournament worthy in the sense that they:
1. have a dynamic interesting tactical layout for resources
2. look good
3. have a GREAT flow of play and produce great games
At this point enough time has gone by that every map in the next tournament should be impressive.
I would reference the maps designed by m1chi and onkelsam to see what those look like in terms of overall quality.

i also want to advise mappers that posting for people to test your map in your thread and waiting for feedback prolly isnt enough. youve got to reach out to other forums, players, clans, friends etc. do alot of testing yourself too. a post in your map thread and waiting 90% of the time isnt enough.
i voted may 5-6 as in april there are the wmd stuff . i dont care on which of the may dates tho. However i feel like this forum gets way less atention than it deserves. i mean look at the votes and stuff . thats just poor
We'll hold a CoH: Modern Combat 1vs1 Tourney on May 5th-6th, so i would prefer if these two events won't interfer...

When is the deadline to present a map for the next custom tourney? (thinking about minimal 2 week to make other player than my clan mate to test/abuse the map at is max, to improve balance and correct possible bug).
The official announcement of CoH2 and the appointment of a new CM for CoH is great news. Let's think again about when we should hold the next custom map tournament. Opinions? It would be nice to hear from as many players, mapmakers, and fans, as possible. Something like this won't happen unless the community supports the initiative!
True true. But the devoted check here! With the announcement of CoH2, the entire CoH community is breathing fresh air. It's an awesome feeling. I'm ready to pick the ball up on this project and plan dates for the next custom map tournament.
