I think the issue is too many people are still clinging to the 1.04 play style of nothing but Tech/RPG/Quads and Rockvees over and over again every single game.. Nuke Battlemasters are absolutely great against both of those unit types, mixing in both Marauders and Crusaders to your army composition will help a great deal against Nuke Battlemasters.
That's kinda the point of 1.06, to encourage unit mixing, variety of strategies etc. And not just spamming nothing but the same 2 units every game.

As Stealth In 1.04 it was hard to counter tanks in early game but it was doable if you had good micro/hijackers. Now in 1.06 you do not have hijackers in the early part of the game so the only way to counter tanks is quad/rpg and even with that composition it is hard to counter nuke battlemaster for example. As Air in 1.04 if you were up against tank it was reallly hard but it was doable if you had good humuvee micro. Now in 1.06 you won't have a chance because the ambulances don't heal. GLA spamming quads/ china tank or any china spamming gats kills air here so fast. SWG in 1.06 has same problem as Air. Love your casts pwnagemachine and Archonhawk ^^

You should try expanding your tricks and skills for all of your army's. If and when you do figure it out, you should trying buying upgrades such as AP bullets and rockets.
Don't even get me started on air, there is so many options with it, I can't be able to list them all.
Fire bases, as I said before mixed with patriots, vees and mds are fantastic. Flash bang with SnD rape all troop crawlers late game. The most important thing about playing air is your macro. You should never have more than one AF. You have to have enough money to mix other units such as vee/md. You will be losing raptors as well, so trying to build, and rebuild raptors from two AFs, is suicide.
Killing oils would be a bad move instead of taking it for yourself. You need the oils as usa, as it can be hard gaining outside money sources. And upgrades from strat and AF should be highly considered. Don't get me wrong, its really hard to play so flawless, but if you spam the army enough times, you start to develop habits to these things.
On all MU's, expanding to other money sources should be the most important thing in your mind. Attacking his base is no where near as important as your will now need money to reenforce your lost units, thx to the balance enhancements.
