CNC Zero Hour

This has been asked several times for LAN (GameRanger, Hamachi) matches:

Can random balance be added? Not in the same fashion as GameSpy Online with the GenTool option at hand to turn if off and on and everyone must have GenTool... so what can we do? Force enable it with GenTool? Can be done, however that means that everyone not having GenTool will be at a disadvantage and it is cheating.

since i have one vote too, i voted for YES because i think random hide adds nothing to the game, design wise, except making matchups more unbalanced.

however this change would need approval across major generals communities because in the end it is a cheat.

Voted yes because online all with gentool play with RB on (despite few exceptions like serbian )

NO. I bought and paid this Game long time before Gentool exists so i have the Rights to do whatever i want except cheating. No one should force me to using it, if i dont want to.
RB is stupid in my Opinion and decrease the Balance. The Advantage of any USA Faction for their Ability to scan is = 0.
Also i would like to see making Polls more serious without stupid Words like motherf....

And USA scan is a major advantage over factions like chinaV anyway - making it more imba than it already is.

Also USA scan will still be very useful because you still need to scout.

I reckon YES because:

1. I like Random Balance and its forced addition would make LAN networks (such as GameRanger) less of a pain in the arse to play on.
2. It would cause controversy and potentially have players ditch LAN play for the official servers, like they should.

I voted for "don't care ".

But it's meaning less in CCG since many people boxtrick
and even more they can set micro mouse to automate boxtrick on any start location for 3v3 map in just 3secs.

yes,the game is more fun/fair with RB.
to the advantage, atm the only people without gentool are 1. noobs 2. hackers, noobs will install gentool fast when you tell them to and hackers see the armys anyway.

i have gotten used to random balance online. can't really be bothered to waypoint scout. Not because i'm incapable of doing so, but more of a ''cant be fucked'' thing

yes, its in online was so why not here.. random balance is best, also would be good to add in gaameranger that recognizes who has gt and who doesn't like it was in online

^this. Maybe I'm not a smart person and didn't understand the full deep thoughts of random balance, but seeing enemies army in loading screen while it is a random game is a no-go.
