How it will work:
1. Teams of two (obviously). Players can also sign up as free agents.
2. It will be run as a knock out style tournament.
3. All games will be live streamed (they actually will this time) I will cast them, a long side others.
4. All videos will be up on YouTube after the games.
5. We have yet to decide on map rules and such but expect similar to the 1v1 tournament.

This will be run in a slightly more formal manner than the 1v1 tournament. We are in the process of setting up dedicated web pages for tournament brackets, players, teams and what not.

So all I ask of you for now is to let me know here or via PM if you are interested and if there are any comments or ideas you have.

As far as I know there are two teams still needed, cause we are stuck at 6 teams. Maybe team "Insane Asylum" (Onyx and Genera1) or GR.org wants to join in (Netput and OpticalX).
The tournament is scheduled for the 25th of September.

Glad to see you guys are interested. Signed DerGaertner and Maze up today, hope to see the rest of you guys come on board smile.gif. Am going to be speaking to Netput about hosting the replays here if he'd like, plus will hopefully have verdipwnz streaming with myself providing Youtube vids of all the games.

The prize money is coming out of pocket, not in a hope to make it back as that is doubtful, but more to be an incentive for everyone to put the practice in and play the best they can smile.gif.

BTW even though we have 8 teams now, they're expandable brackets so we can take as many more teams as are interested.

Just to specify, the tournament will not be a single day tournament, it will run over 2-3 weeks depending on how many teams we have.

I'll do a write up on the tournament overall and have it up for tomorrow. If you want an entertaining game watch the first semi final, if you want to see what a mess this game is watch the final. In the final we got to see the complete lack of balance in the game, as well as how unstable it is with a players game crashing.
