Cant decide to have another tourney (60$ regular tourney) or just donate to the ladder playoff wars each and EVERY month..which makes more sense to you guys?

Well, We are planning to do a new tourney. The Ladder Wars are a good idea, too. Up to you.

This sounds fantastic. On the one hand EVERY community member could win this money, on the other hand this could motivate better players to actually participate in ladder wars. And it could motivate players to spam games at the end of the month to qualify for ladder wars.
