Play all the factions. It will make you a better CoH player.
The reasons for this are quite simple; playing a faction will give you a better understanding of its strategies, weaknesses and strengths. The more details you know about a faction, the easier it is to play against it. You will be able to better judge if that fast M8 is around the corner and you better start laying some mines, or if you can afford to get some more anti infantry units. These simple things often make the difference between taking the initiative in a game, or simply reacting to your opponent.
One of the smarter things to do is to try out a strategy which beats you all the time and see how others play against it. Don't just whine about it, try it yourself, and thereby learn how it can be beaten.
