Panzer Elite Tip #8Incendiary GrenadesThe Incendiary Grenades are only available to the Panzer Elite. They are nothing like the nades we see in the other armies. This grenade has no timer, explodes on impact and does good damage overall.
It can be researched very early in the game in the PE HQ for a fairly cheap cost of 120 Manpower + 20 Fuel. When the upgrade is done all the Panzer Grenadiers can throw this nade for 15 Munitions. The recharge timer is 240 seconds. Its 4 seconds if you have a Munitions Halftrack near it or if you have upgraded the Defensive Operations so you can recharge in your base area. You can get this nade very early in the game, if you do get them use them wisely. You will probably not have a Munitions HT or the Defensive Operations upgraded that early in the game meaning you probably have to wait 240 seconds till you can throw it again. Make sure you dont waste them.
This grenade is very usefull against units in trenches and units in buildings. It does good damage on impact but it will also deal damage after the impact. The ground will stay burning for a while killing everything, including your own units that walk into it. If the enemy doesnt move he will slowly die. Infact if weapon teams like MG's or Mortars dont move when they get hit by this nade they are sure to die by the fire.
Fire usually is very good against the Observation Posts, this grenade however isnt. Dont waste your nades on OP's.
Many people don't realise that is a very good anti-blob weapon. The more nades you throw at the same time, the bigger the explosion. Because its so hard to dodge, throwing several nades together at a big concentration of units standing in cover will deal massive damage on impact. If they dont move away, the many flames will burn them quickly. So if you see a big concentration of units clumped up don't hesitate to unleash a rain of grenades. Its cheap, very effective and will hurt your enemy significantly.
