Attention! Tank guard applies double mining points. Booby traps triggered before the infantry coming to the point, and then when the second explosives and a detachment of infantry falls into a trap....don't know how to fight with such a scoundrel. Share experience who are faced with such despicable tactics

I saw what you mentioned and is just the Swimmwagen incendiary mine, in case you don't they can deploy those. Kettenkrad can deploy an explosive one.

Next time get a jeep to get rid of the swimm and support your rifles.

I am assuming, just downloaded but not yet watched, that the PE player went SE (Scorched Earth) doctrine. I find that sometimes going armour and using the RAID facility that points can be captured with the minimum of damage.

Otherwise you will need to 'baby-sit' your infantry and listen out for the click of the booby trap in order to move them out of the way.

I hate going against SE because of the late-game sector artillery.

EDIT: I have just watched the game. It was a painful experience!! I hate it when PE goes Scorched Earth doctrine. This is when using Armour Company Commander comes in useful as the light vehicles: Jeeps, M8 Greyhounds and M3 halftracks can capture using the RAID choice on the tech tree. Although some may receive damage it doesn't prove as fatal as when it is riflemen getting killed.

In the end he was just too strong and the sector artillery at the end completely cut you off. Other than that, even when the going got tough, you still hung in there, well done for that. Also against PE it is always best not to tech to BARs-leave them for later in the game. Either get that fast Supply Yard or, if you suspect vehicles, sticky bombs.

Good luck.
