An hour long back and forth struggle on Semois. Few mistakes by him, few by me resulted in some epic moments smile.gif. Enjoy

This was fun to watch, some nice tank battles I think US player should of won when he pushed you back into your base, well played for the comeback though.

at the moment perhaps he was consolidating his postion.. and expecting perhaps heavy gren play or t3 play perhaps. Thats why he made lots of rifles and had td units out. On semois with lots of green cover and shotblockers, pumas wont do much, unless inf is caught out in the open sides.

t4 really did him i think. pushing into my base wouldent do much either. he could kill a few men, maybe a building.. but I could run around the hq and seriously damage his tech unit. high risk high reward. he didnt wanna take the risk i guess. this varies from player to player on how much you want to risk your tech investment

I don't understand your capping order at all. At 2:30 you cap the MP sector to the right of the right-hand bridge rather than the adjacent fuel sector. Both are neutral, you don't know if the opponent has the ammo that would be cut off by capping the MP sector first.

At 5:40, same two sectors are in enemy hands and again you cap the MP sector. This time you can make the argument that its depriving the enemy of a +16 ammo by disconnecting. So I can see it being a split decision.

And once again at 9:00 same two sectors. Your volks squad walks past the neutral fuel sector to cap the enemy controlled MP sector. Even at this stage you only have 20 fuel. It would have been much more efficient to flip the fuel first as it was on the way to the MP sector. As axis, capping fuel is nearly always my first priority until I am sufficiently teched. Your opponent went armor and didn't have tank spam at the time to really make use of the ammo. Perhaps if he had been air or inf you might want to keep ammo out of his hands. Your resource prioritization is puzzling.

EDIT - Actually in the case of the 2:30 cap, there is no cutoff as the connecting sector is neutral. So there was no reason to cap the MP sector. Fuel sector was the obvious choice.

tbh i dont care much about cap orders and what.. i try to simplfy things and not make them so complex that i actually forget that matters. I was keen on keeping some map presence and try to spend more time microing units into better postions. i never prioritize anything.. i just cap what i can safely.
