OMG that was UNBELIEVABLE. I seriously have no idea whether to laugh or cry after watching that game....
Spoiler
Audemed I feel for your early-game. I watched it in 4x so have no idea HOW, but you got pushed off, and then PE is really in a dilemma. While you see BARs, you still know he has map control and hence can easily tech up. Therefore you either get AI and risk being caught with your pants down when Tanks or M8s hit, or you can get AT and try to just about hold on in case he turns out to be an inf-spammer. While your micro was above par, you still couldn't hold off against his blobbing, and kept getting pushed back with help of Strafe spam. Still, your resilience in late game was admirable, and after that early game you really did everything you possibly could.
The Amer's play was different. After getting that all important early-game advantage, he saw Schrecks and successfully managed to pull off a blob-strafe-deal damage-disappear mid-game, after which he got Tanks. The early hellcats were a bad choice seeing the schrecks on the field, but those Shermans really ruined PEs day. Amer successfully went ahead and baserushed, but failed to take out buildings. Even after that, he could easily just set up at each VP and block them, but no, he decides to uselessly go after 86mms, bashing against which he loses a few shermans. Now the VPs are like soooo close, but at the final minute of this intensely close VP war, he decides he's had enough, and refuses to move his infantry, which includes a Vet3 Rifle and keeps them in his base. WTF!
I envy the adrenaline afterglow you got after winning this hell of a long, uphill game Btw I don't really want to spoil the game for others, so how do I enclose the above in a spoiler??

This is worth watching just for the sheer feeling of wanting to scream, face palm, and cover your eyes as the American player apparently has a prejudice against winning through victory point tickers and much rather prefers losing with his pride and 1000+ manpower intact.
