Dawn of War 2

Hello and welcome to the Dawn of War 2: Come One, Come All Tournament.
This is your tournament leader JuhwannX speaking.
The tournament is open to the entire community of Dawn of War 2: Retribution.
Specifics and rules follow below.

Specifics:

Start Sunday April 21 2013 at 17:00 GMT. Timezone table [UTC=GMT]
This is a 1v1 tournament.
Matches will be played as Bo1 (best out of 1) or Bo3 determined by the amount of participating players.
Finals will be a Bo5.
This tournament will be played with the Elite mod 2.1 version.

Prize Pool:

Company of Heroes 2, donated by Redrupee
Sanctum, donated by JuhwannX
Plain Sight, AI War Bundle, and Castle Crashers. All donated by Daveman.

The winner will get to choose first followed by the runner up.
3rd and 4th player get to choose at the same time.
If they both want the same game they can either talk it over or play a match for it.
Bo1 by default, they may agree to play a Bo3 instead.

Smaller prizes may also be awarded to various lower ending players by Redrupee.

Dota 2 keys donated by ParanoidKami & friends for every participant that wants one as long as stock goes!

Sign up:

To enter the tournament you must sign up on Binary Beast and you will also have to join the Steam Group.
Be present in the group chat on the day of the tournament for as long as you are in the running.
Be here at least 15 minutes before the tournaments starts so matches can start smoothly.
There is no entree fee. This tournament is free to enter.
The sign ups lasts until April the 17th. No more entrees will be allowed after.

Victory point control: 500 VPS

Maps:

The first round of a match will always be a fixed map as shown in the brackets on Binary Beast.
The rounds that follow will be losers choice.
No map can be played more than once within a match, unless both players agree on playing a map twice.

Race Picks:

The player in the top bracket will lock in his race first for the first round.
In the following rounds the player that chose the map has to lock into their race first.

Observers:

No observers allowed besides referees or streamers.

Results:

Both parties are responsible for entering the correct results.
Replays have to be saved by both parties.

The winner will upload the replays to Binary Beast in the proper location.
If for some reason Binary Beast doesn't allow you to upload, upload to GameReplays.
The title should contain "DoW2:COCA", "round number" and the "game number".
Example: DoW2:COCARo32 game1/3

Disconnections:

When a game ends before victory points run out or one of the 2 players concede, 2 things can happen:
Either the players agree on a winner or agree to replay.
If the players don't come to an agreement a referee will make the decision after watching the replay.
The ruling will be final. There will be no discussing with the referee so the tournament can go on as smoothly as possible.

General Rules:

The Tyranids Capillary Towers are prohibited from being spawned on impassable terrain.
(Making them unkillable).

Be respectful. Inappropriate or disrespectful behavior will result in disqualification or other disciplinary actions as the referees see fit.

Community help:

Referees:

We need voluntary referee's.
Job description:
Be in the tournament chat room some time before the tournament starts.
Help people find their opponents.
Resolve disputes between players after watching the replays.

Referees can not play in the tournament, however there will be a referee only exhibition tournament.
All referees will receive a Dota 2 key (if they want), donated by Dark Riku, for their work and time.
The winner of the referee only tournament will also receive copy of Age of Empires II HD.

We are looking for streamers to live stream games they deem the most interesting to watch.
We are also looking for people to cast good games that were not caught live.
