TeamSpeak and
SteelSeries to bring you another very exciting event. We give you
Tournament Season 4! This is our biggest event yet, with a prize pool consisting of
$3,000, hardware and Gold coins.
We have made a few small changes this season. We are bringing back the team roster, which means teams will need to provide their team roster before playing the first qualifier and that roster cannot be changed during the whole season. Like in the last season the winner of each of our 5 Qualifiers, which will consist of 40 teams each, will receive a
$100 prize. Along with that we have some new
rules regarding Forfeits/No-Shows, as well as new
Server Picking Rules which we hope will be easier and more fair to our international teams! At the end of the 5 Qualifying tournaments, we will be holding our Invitational where top 8 teams will compete not only for our amazing prizes, but for the title of TS4 Champions! Tournament Structure
- 5 Weekly Qualifier Tourneys: capped at 40 (32+8) teams, best-of-one, played on Saturdays and Sundays at 19:00GMT (32 teams will play 2 rounds on Saturday to decide which 8 teams will go through the main qualifier to play with the top 8 teams)
- Teams will need to provide their team roster (maximum 7 players) first time they sign up for one of their qualifiers
- Teams roster can have a maximum of 2 player changes during the whole season
- Teams will collect points in the qualifiers for the ladder:
- Tournament Winner (1 team) = 20 points
- Tournament Runner-up (1 team) = 15 points
- Semi-final Runners-up (2 teams) = 10 points
- Quarter-final Runners-up (4 teams) = 5 points
- Qualifiers will be announced on Tuesday and the brackets will be released on Friday
- 10 spots will be reserved for top teams till Wednesday 23:00GMT
- Top 8 teams from the ladder will play the invitational which will be played over 3 consecutive Sundays
- Invitational will be best-of-three, except the finals which will be best-of-five
