Have you ever been retreating from a fight as Akali and use Twilight Shroud to aid in your escape, but were still unable to get away? A useful way of escaping without even leaving your shroud is packing teleport. Doing so, you will have no need to leave your shroud and simply teleport to a friendly location, thus leaving the enemy team in disarray.

Another useful utility of escaping as Akali is packing flash. Say you're running away from 4 angry and very bloodthirsty enemy champions. Place your Twilight Shroud next to a wall. Firstly, the other team doesn't know where you are and are waiting for you to leave the shroud. While this is going on, simply flash through a wall without them noticing. Once the shroud lifts, you are nowhere to be seen.
