A near complete list of the available unlocks, involving weapons and perks in
Modern Warfare 2, has been released by the team at
WePlayCoD. This new list takes care of everything from Assault Rifles to Launchers and even some perks!
A list has been released, which contains all the unlocks (perks included), as well as the levels that they are attained at. Some surprises are in-store for users of level 1 weapons in
Call of Duty 4, as the AK-47 and M16A1 have both been bumped up to higher levels. To view this list, please visit here,
For better or worse, many guns have been replaced as well, including the W1200, the G36C, MP5, and several handguns. Hopefully these changes will balance out with the introduction of some new and amazing weaponry.
New camouflage for weaponry is also being introduced, with "Arctic", "Urban" and "Fall" joining the front. Strangely though there doesn’t appear to be a "Gold" camouflage, so one of these newcomers may be replacing the highly sought after camouflage.
It has also been confirmed, that certain play lists, including hardcore and the new third-person view play list, are unlock able. This came from an interview with Robert Bowling:

- 1:17:50 - The pro version of the Commando perk gives you no falling damage; we're not sure to what height...
- 1:18:45 - You start out with regular play lists but you will be able to unlock hardcore and 3rd person view play lists later on
