It is essential that all potential winners have a PayPal account to collect the prize money!Sign-ups are in motion now -
use the "rating" box to declare the team name!Rules
Teams are to be named by the members. Each team
must designate a Team Captain role to one member who will be responsible for
uploading all replays to a thread in General Discussion that will be made available nearer the time of the event.
All participants are subjected to signing-up & playing for
one team only, & each individual team must also consist of no more than two Expert players. The only exception to this rule would be that QueenOni (and his smurfs) is not allowed to team up with more than one Expert player (given that he participates).
....Players shouldn't need to be reminded, but simply as a formality...Banned bugs & glitches:- Empire's Sudden Transport glitch.
- Allies placing structures around an outpost before it is finished deploying.
- Peacekeeper splash damaging walled structures.
- Dolphin splash damaging land structures.
- The double-shrink bug - applied to all units
- Invisible infantry glitch.
A team gets disqualified if:
- There is a DC, desync or game crash and the replay suggests that it was intentional
- Neither of the players arrive within 15 minutes after the start time or leave the keyboard for more than 15 minutes.
- One or both team mates behave unsportsmanlike/unfair. This includes harassment/flaming via lobby or private chat ('whispering').
If a DC/desync happens during the first minute of the game and no major base scouting took place/advantage gained until then, the match will automatically be replayed. In the event one player disconnects while a match is loading, the match will be replayed also. If one or more players DC's during a match, it is up to the team to finish the game 3v2/3v1 or to forfeit that match.
Any teams that are incomplete when the tournament is due to start are allowed to find a substitution for the missing player.
However if a player drops out after the first game of round 1, a substitution would be no longer allowed anymore and a Referee or Admin will handle the situation from there.
For any disagreements that may arise between two teams - it is requested they notify the Referee/Admin in charge in a calm manner, giving them an overview of the problem. After that please stay calm so that the Referee/Admin has time to sort things out.
Remember a resolution is not instant, so please give the Referee/Admin time to solve things and stay calm until the Referee/Admin contacts you again.
The
decision of the Referee/Admin is final and is not to be discussed.
Good Luck & Have Fun to all participants!
