Welcome to the third in a four part series examining the four participants in Sunday’s Champion’s Cup namely: [Fury]DasDuelon, Technique™, Firgli, and Sofronel.
The Champion's Cup occurs this Saturday December 12 at 6 PM CET or 12 Noon EST. This installment focuses on the Champion’s Cup randomly drawn contestant: Sofronel.

Raynor: Each player plays 12 games in a round robin format, what are your thoughts on this format?
Sofronel: Luck won't be a factor in this tournament.
Raynor:Will this format result in better depth of gameplay?
Sofronel: I think players will stop using risky tactics against each other and we'll have many long games. The Allies mirror matches could be very long. From that point of view the games will have more depth, but I am just guessing as well. If one player starts doing risky things it could lead to all players taking big risks. We will all have to see what happens on Saturday. Four games against each player will also lead to greater depth in game play as well.
Raynor:Will your three opponents have new strategies and tactics prepared for Saturday?
Sofronel: Well we all will, I'm 90% sure of that. I play custom matches with firgli and Technique™ almost every time I log in, so they both know everything about me and vice versa. We're good friends and we train together. I haven't seen DasDuelon around much. He used to be around a lot.
Raynor: Will there be any faction switching by you, or is that a military secret?
Sofronel: I've been practicing Empire, but I'm not sure if I'll use it on Saturday. I think I'll stick to what I knew best.
Raynor:What faction do you think Technique will use?
Sofronel: I don't want to say.
Raynor: No problem that is all part of the `fog of war`.
Sofronel:I do not want to reveal everything about my play. But, I think keeping things a secret only has a small impact. It's more about how well I'll play and if I can avoid the most mistakes.
Raynor:Would you like to add anything else?
Sofronel: It's going to be an Allies-fest on Saturday so all players are spending plenty of time this week practicing fighting against Allies. I wish good luck to all my opponents good and fair games, have fun, and let the best win.
