Red Alert 3

Greetings comrades! We here at Red3 and GameReplays are very excited to announce our next tournament. We're going to be doing something a little bit different this time around and Commissioner Sybert has made a video to explain. Check it out below.

Details

That's right we're going to be crowd-funding our next open bracket tournament. Participation will be free, as per usual, but the prize pool will be driven by community donations. Every dollar donated to the prize pool will be matched in a donation by Inspector RaGe to water.org, up to $200. The donation drive for the tournament is running from September 20 to October 23. At this point we will collate all of the donations and announce the total prize pool as soon as we can.
All money donated to the prize pool that isn't taken in fees by PayPal will be used for the prize pool.
Because we don't know what the final prize pool will be we've based the prize pool on percentages based on the prize pool size.

• $0-$40 Winner takes all
• $41-$80 1st 65% 2nd 35%
• $81-$130 1st 53% 2nd 29% 3rd 18%
• $131-$200 1st 48% 2nd 26% 3rd 16% 4th 10%
• $201-$399 1st 45% 2nd 25% 3rd 15% 4th 9% 5th-6th 6%
• $400+ 1st 44% 2nd 24% 3rd 14% 4th 8% 5th-8th 10%

We're not going to be announcing all of the details just yet, but right now we're looking at hosting a two day double elimination tournament on October 25/26. Registration will open up on October 1 and will stay open until the day of the tournament.
