The Vindicator is perhaps the most beloved unit among the Allied players, especially for those who know how to stop micro, or drop one bomb at a time. To drop only one bomb, you need to press 'S', assuming the default hotkeys are used, around 200 milliseconds after clicking. This takes some practice to learn the proper timing. Below is a simple flash application which can help you learn the Vindicator Stop Micro. Since its flash, you cannot right-click on it. Instead,
left-click on the poor, frozen, Soviet Ore Collector and then press 'S' to see how many bombs you drop.
Now that you've learned how to drop a single bomb, check out the following charts to find out the exact number of bombs needed to destroy structures or units. In some cases, the number of bombs needed are specified as a multiplication expression to help indicate the number of Vindicators necessary. For example, if you see "N x 3 + M" as the number of bombs, you can say "N+1" fully loaded Vindicators are roughly needed to destroy the related unit/structure. More specifically, the total number of bombs needed is three times the number of Vindicators needed (N) plus M left over bombs. As an example, a Crusher Crane takes 3 fully loaded Vindicators plus 1 extra bomb (3 x 3 +1) for a total of 10 bombs.

- As you can see on the charts, MCVs have more armor than Construction Yards. It means that you can deal more damage to your opponent's MCV if you wait for it to unpack. Also, it's always a good idea to pack up your own Construction Yard in the case you are under attack.
- Notice that Imperial Warriors and Shinobis take two bombs to kill not one.
- Do not attempt to kill a Soviet Ore Collector in secondary mode. It takes 60 bombs to kill! In reference, you can destroy two Construction Yards with 60 bombs.
- Oil Derricks take 10 and Observation Posts take 67 bombs to destroy.
