Really intense and back and forth. You simply cannot claim this to be one-sided. Often, you see one really big engagement towards the end. In this game you see about 3 of those smile.gif

WP by Dimon on this allies map ^^

SP IMBALANCE, that's all I see from this replay. Dimon did a better job in terms of harassment/expand/changing tactics etc and yet still lost the game.

Dimon made some big mistakes:

A 4 tesla trooper drop with the intention to harass refs? I can't think of a single realistic scenario where this would be worth the risk. During this, he only killed a ref (which was soon rebuilt by that refinery's collector), but lost 4 migs, 4 tesla troopers and a twinblade. This was probably the main reason that Dimon lost.

There was 0 harassment to the high ground refinery, even though it was left completely vulnerable all game. Things like a flak drop/ running a td + sickle over the bridge there would have caused him problems. To be honest, I don't actually know if it was ever scouted.

He could have microed his tanks a lot better in one of the final attacks from vindies. Instead of running them all into a mirage/jav army he should have kept his distance while using the hammer's superior range (combined with mirage add-ons). This was another huge reason why he lost.

He played very well for the majority of the game, but after a while his decision making and micro went downhill.

But saying all of this, Vindies also made a lot of unnecessary micro mistakes (For example, losing a vindi for nothing at the start/sacrificing 2/3 cryos after vindies made the main push into Dimon's spread out army while not much else was going on etc).

Of course, in a 23 minute game mistakes are inevitable - it will happen even at the highest level of play; but these mistakes that I am pointing out are not forced errors and they could have been avoided. It just so happens that Dimon's were worse.

Very well played to both of you though!
