The Tomb Worlds of the Necrons are desolate, forbidding places, utterly devoid of natural life of any kind. Underneath those worlds lie the Necron armies, dormant until called upon by a Necron Lord to rise up and serve again in the never-ending war against the living races of the galaxy. All Necrons are made of a highly advanced metal which can flex and bend, as well as repair itself, often with seemingly-destroyed Necrons actually reassembling themselves on the battlefield and standing up to fight once more. Individual Necron warriors are resilient, capable fighters, slow but difficult to stop once they have enough of their brethren at their side. The Flayed Ones are a horrific sight, shredding their victims in melee combat and then draping themselves in their bloody, torn skins. The Immortals are the veterans of the Warrior ranks, carrying hugely destructive cannons capable of peeling through reinforced tank armor, while the Pariahs hold the enemy at bay in close quarters, each swipe of their scythes not only inflicting damage, but also slowing the enemy and reducing their overall health. A full Necron army is not known for its speed or mobility, but its combat efficiency is undeniable, with foes often being forced to fall back from the wall of advancing robotic soldiers until they simply run out of places to flee to.
