The Aztec Civilization
The Aztecs were civilized but also warlike. They constructed great cities with advanced infrastructure included temples, markets and canals. Besides this they had a lot of courage and the Spanish veterans often reported that an Aztec charge was more difficult to withstand then massed European artillery.
They have one of the most unique armies in The WarChiefs. They have an all infantry army and their military units are not divided into foot vs mounted vs siege, but instead they are organized by social rank which provides a very interesting gaming aspect when using the Aztecs.
The Aztecs start the game with one Warrior Priest which counts as two villagers when dancing around the Fire Pit, letting the Aztecs reap the advantages of Fire Pit dances earlier than any other civilization. These Warrior Priests give an even larger advantage to the Aztecs late game. The Fire Pit has a limit of 25 dancers, but if the Aztecs put 10 Warrior Priests onto it, this counts as 35 total dancers for calculating bonuses. Additionally, it frees up 10 villagers for gathering!

The French Civilization
The French Empire played a deciding and pivotal role in the settlement of North America. Their alliances with native tribes and initial settlement successes were a testiment to their resilience. Despite initial success, the French Empire wasn't as interested in developing their colonies like other nations were. Over the course of time and conflict, their colonies were overtaken or sold off to pay for wars raging in Europe. Though they ended off with little, their early contributions and significance were of great proportions.
The main bonus for the French Civilisation is the Coureur de Bois, they are a strong Settler unit which is also very capable in combat, they take one pop each and gather at the rate of 1.25 villagers with a 80 Coureur de Bois limit, this leaves 120 population for units while still keeping one of the best economies in the game. Their unique unit is the Cuirassier and as Royal Guard Units the French has the Skirmishers and again the Cuirassier.

The German Civilization
The German Empire played a minor role in colonizing and discovering the New World but did play an important part in Europe and the conflicts that took place there. These conflicts involving other major powers were of great significance. The wars in the colonies were secondary to these European wars, though colonies did play a vital role by supplying goods to their homeland. Ports and colonies abroad were good often used as bargaining chips when settling treaties.
The German civilization gains free Uhlans with most of their Home City shipments. Another bonus they have is their Settler shipments, instead of Settlers they can only ship the Settler Wagon. The Settler Wagon is basically two Settlers merged together, the bonus of having this is that they gain more Settlers from there shipments and in later game they can build one plantation or mill and have the equivalent of 20 villagers gathering on it, saving 400/800 wood. The German unique units are the Uhlan, the War Wagon and the Dopplersoldner and their Royal Guard units are the Skirmisher and the Uhlan.

The Iroquois Civilization
The Iroquois Confederacy were a group of natives Americans. They consisted of six tribes: the Mohawk, the Cayuga, the Oneida, the Senaca and the Tuscarora. Throughout the 17th and 18th centuries they were one of the strongest powers in the Northeast United States and Southeast Canada. They reached the height of their power in 1680. During the 17th century they were allied with the English against the French and their common enemy, the Huron. The Iroquois Confederacy fell apart when the American Revolution began. After this war, many of the Iroquois, who joined the British cause, resettled in Canada.
The Iroquois start with one travois which can turn into various buildings. The Iroquois do not have houses, but Longhouses which supply more population but are also more expensive. The Iroquois is the only Native American civilization in The WarChiefs and the Asian Dynasties that is able to build artillery. The Iroquois were known for their modernization, and were known for their abilities to siege well versus their enemies with stolen or traded European Artillery, as well as their own siege equipment such as Rams.
The Iroquois Warchief provides a special bonus which increases the HP of all your units which are in the Warchief's aura. Also has the Iroquois Warchief a powerful Eagle Eye shot which can kill several military at once.
The Iroquois has like all other Native American civilizations a fire pit. Their unique dance is the Founder Dance, which creates a new Travois after a certain amount of time. This allows the Ottomans to advance to Colonial much fater than other civilizations, and coupled with their unique units, the Janissary and Abus Gun, they have one of the most powerful rushes in the game. The Janissary is essentially a super-musketeer, and the Abus Gun is the Ottoman version of the Skirmisher. The Russian Civilization
The Russian Empire played a major role as a power in Europe, but also the lesser role in colonizing North America. Initial interest in colonization was to profit from goods, namely furs; but due to transportation costs, profit was marginable. Russian colonies in North American stretched throughout Alaska, down the Pacific coast to California. Russia sold her North American interests off to the USA.
Russian Settlers and Blockhouse units (infantry) are trained in batches. Units created in batches are cheaper, but take longer to train. Russian infantry is 20% weaker than other civilizations’ infantry, but they cost 25% less. Russian unique units are the Strelet, a weak, yet extremely cheap Skirmisher, the Cossack, Russia’s replacement for the Hussar, and the Oprichnik, a hand cavalry unit that that is good at raiding. Russia’s Royal Guard units are the Pavlov Grenadier and Tartar Loyalist Cavalry Archers.

The Sioux were a cavalry based Native American tribe who formed a major treaty to the European settlers in the 18th and especially 19th century. They controlled a large part of Northern America, bigger than any Western-European country, which made them very powerful.

Their Warchief is mounted and is therefore faster than any other nations explorer or Warchief. Also the Sioux Warchief provides a special bonus which increases all nearby units speed, giving them a huge advantage when raiding.
Their Fire Pit can also play a big part in a Sioux players game. It can be used to boost the warriors attack in combat or to speed up military and villager production. Another important dance is the Sioux Fire Dance, which boosts the siege damage of all Sioux units to make up for their lack of artillery or any real siege unit.
