Unit Build Times

In this guide we will take a look at how the number of barracks affects the build time of units. We will go up a total of 3 barracks for each unit type.

It is worth noting that it's much more efficient to have sufficient power and less barracks, than more barracks and less power. We found in testing that four barracks with low power was much much slower than even two barracks with sufficient power, so make sure that you keep your power at comfortable levels throughout, and don't add more barracks at the cost of power as you will suffer the consequences!

UNITS


Infantry
Description: Good against other infantry and structures. Requires Barracks.
1 Barracks: 5s
2 Barracks: 4s
3 Barracks: 3s


Rocket Infantry
Description: Long range infantry, good against vehicles and aircraft. Requires Barracks.
1 Barracks: 5s
2 Barracks: 4s
3 Barracks: 3s



Engineer
Description: Weak attack, can repair all other units. Requires Barracks and Tech Lab.
1 Barracks:10s
2 Barracks:7.6s
3 Barracks:5.8s


Harvester
Description: Collects resources and returns them to the refinery for processing. Can crush infantry. Requires Motor pool and refinery.
1 Barracks:10s
2 Barracks:7.6s
3 Barracks:5.8s



Armoured Car
Description: Fast scout vehicles, good against infantry. Requires Motor Pool.
1 Barracks:10s
2 Barracks:7.6s
3 Barracks:5.8s


Tank
Description: Slow cannon unit, good against other vehicles and structures, cannot shoot aircraft and can crush infantry. Requires Motor Pool and Tech Lab.

Artillery
Description: Long range area of effect weapon, good against tightly packed targets. Cannot shoot aircraft. Requires Motor Pool and Radar.

Description: Quick scout aircraft, good against infantry and light vehicles. Requires Air Control.

Description: Heavy weapons aircraft, good against vehicles and structures. Requires Air Control and Radar.

Description: Unarmed transport aircraft, can hold up to 6 units of any kind, except other aircraft. Requires Air Control.
