Alright ladies and gentlmen, anyone who has ever played in the
Total Gaming League is familiar with their innate ability to put together tournaments with developer support behind them. This particular tournament (one of the first major ones for
Bad Company 2) has the largest prize pot to date. $10,000 US, with the top four teams flown to the
Penny Arcade Expo East to battle over this massive prize.
Total Gaming League has been around for a couple of years at this stage and they have expressed strong desire to push forward with
Bad Company 2 competitive leagues and tournaments, which is brilliant for the game.
Interestingly the tournament will be run in one of the brand new game-modes, Squad Deathmatch rather than the standard Conquest type. It will be interesting to see how this game mode works for competitive play, as a 4 team free-for-all is a major change in playstyle from the old Conquest. If you want to register head over to
Total Gaming League, registrations close March 13th.
Stay tuned to
GameReplays.org for updates on this tournament, and many more to come in the world of
Bad Company 2, including our very own!
